The Labor Education Action Research Network (LEARN) is housed in the Labor Education Center at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. The mission of LEARN is to: 1) provide convenient and affordable public access to the most innovative thinking about how to organize our workplaces and communities on a more inclusive, fair, and democratic basis, and 2) to provide opportunities for developing the skills and capacities needed to build and maintain a more democratic, just and sustainable society.
Through educational offerings, original research, conferences, and public programs and activities, LEARN disseminates knowledge, skills, and ideas that: (a) strengthen the community at work; (b) facilitate the organization of work on a more democratic basis; and, (c) address unjustified inequalities of power and wealth in the wider society.
LEARN also develops customized training programs for interested individuals and organizations.
