The HRM track focuses on understanding the interplay between HR practices, strategies, and systems and employee attitudes, emotions, and behaviors to improve the work experience. Students develop research expertise in (1) HR practices and systems (compensation, performance management, sustainability, DE&I) and (2) and Organizational Behavior (leadership, careers, and social networks) and their impact on employee success and well-being. Students in the HRM concentration typically pursue a secondary concentration in Organizational Behavior/Management or Research Methods.
