

Scott Seibert

Professor Scott Seibert’s research is in the areas of organizational behavior and human resource management. Key topics include career processes and career success, leadership, employee motivation, and the psychology of entrepreneurship.
He has published widely in top-tier journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and Academy of Management Journal. He has received the Academy of Management Journal Best Paper Award and the Outstanding Publication in Organizational Behavior Award. He has served on the editorial board of Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology.
Professor Seibert has been on the officer/leadership track of the Careers Division of the Academy of Management (2015 - 2020) and is currently Chair of the Careers Division.
