Jake is a first-year doctoral student in the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations. His research interests include precarious work, employee misclassification, and non-traditional labor organizations. Prior to SMLR Jake was a research specialist at the Worker Institute at Cornell University, studying topics including the New York State Arts & Entertainment Workforce, growing alliances between labor unions and non-traditional labor organizations, and nascent unionization efforts in the video game production industry. Jake holds a bachelor's degree from the Cornell ILR School with minors in Business and Inequality Studies.
