Join the Center for Global Work and Employment on November 28, 2022 for an online forum on Post-Pandemic Work and Management: Great Resignation, Quiet Quitting, and Great Resilience.

How to retain and engage employees in the post-pandemic world has recently caught wide public attention in many countries. Three speakers of this forum, Robert Ployhart (University of South Carolina), Chris Rowley (University of Oxford), and Ingo Weller (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München), will share their insights on this issue focusing on the situations in the US, the UK, and Germany. The presentations will be followed by an extended Q&A with the audience. Jie (Jasmine) Feng from the Rutgers HRM Department will serve as the moderator.

Robert E. Ployhart
is the Bank of America Professor of Business Administration in the Department of Management at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. His research focuses on human capital resources, staffing, personnel selection, recruitment, staffing-related legal issues and applied statistical models such as structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling (HLM/RCM), and longitudinal modeling.

Chris Rowley
is visiting fellow at the University of Oxford. He also holds appointments as: Professor Emeritus, Cass Business School, City University of London, UK; Visiting Fellow, Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies, Nottingham University, UK; Adjunct Professor, Asia Institute and Asian Studies Department, Griffith University, Australia.

Ingo Weller
is a Professor of HRM at LMU Munich’s School of Management, the Director of the Institute for Human Capital Management, and the Co-Director of LMU’s Organizations Research Group (ORG). His research interests include strategic human resource management and strategic human capital research, matching processes, and people analytics.

is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) at Rutgers University’s School of Management and Labor Relations. Her primary research interests include employee turnover, compensation, and the interfaces between HR and entrepreneurship.
