Dr. David Allen, Chair of the Department of Human Resource Management, has been appointed Editor Elect of the Journal of Management. David brings an impeccable scholarly reputation to the JOM Editorship. He earned a Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 1999. He is also a Distinguished Research Environment Professor at Warwick Business School in the U.K. Dr. David Allen, Chair of the Department of Human Resource Management.
David has published 51 refereed journal articles, many of which have appeared in top-tier management journals. David is a fellow of the Southern Management Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the American Psychological Association. David brings significant editorial experience, having served on the editorial boards of nine journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Personnel Psychology. He currently serves as the Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Management. David will assume the role of Editor-Elect beginning in June 2016 and will begin accepting manuscripts as Editor-in-Chief on July 1, 2017.
