Shawn Taylor completed his master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation under the guidance of mentor extraordinaire, SMLR Professor David Bensman. Shawn assisted SMLR Professor Paula Voos with certifying two undergraduate courses that meet SAS Core Curriculum goals. He has regularly taught U.S. Labor and Work before the End of Reconstruction, and on occasion has taught History of Labor and Work in the U.S. 1880 to 1945. Shawn is a veteran and served as a platoon commander in the United States Marine Corps.
