Invited Talk: Human Resource Management in China by Professor Shuming Zhao from Nanjing University

Professor Shuming Zhao is Chair Professor and Honorary Dean of the Nanjing University Business School in China. He is also a distinguished visiting professor at the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business and at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He received his Ph.D. degree in Higher Education Administration and Human Resource Management from the Claremont Graduate University, California, USA.

Professor Zhao is an internationally-known scholar in human resource management and multinational business management, and one of the pioneer scholars who introduced western human resource management theory to China. He has received numerous awards and published more than 20 books and 350 journal articles. His work has advanced our understanding of human resource management practices in Chinese firms. Professor Zhao is also the 3rd President of the International Association of Chinese Management Research (IACMR).
