Sarah is an economist with expertise social equity. She loves analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to better understand the nuances of public policy and she is passionate about improving the well-being of women and their families.
   
Sarah holds a PhD in Economics from Colorado State University. Before joining the Center for Women and Work as a postdoctoral associate, Sarah studied rural childcare deficits at Root Policy Research and was recently a visiting scholar at Duke University where she studied labor market discrimination. She has also served as a fellow for the peer reviewed journal Feminist Economics and has taught numerous undergraduate courses at Colorado State University and Front Range Community College.
