Jackie Brown (she/her) is a Senior Program Coordinator for the Center for Innovation in Worker Organization at Rutgers University. She has held multiple coordination roles in change-based nonprofits and cooperatives working on proposal writing, budget management, and event planning. She has organized around issues including abolition and decarceration, transit justice, affordability of higher education, and access for folks with disabilities.

Jackie is a member of The STOKE Collective where she is a facilitator and trainer supporting social change organizations to build strong foundations and be more relational. Additionally, she has been a bicycle mechanic for years and some of her most treasured work has been mobilizing and educating fellow under-represented folks in the trades. Jackie leans strongly on her belief in people-power and knows that for our movements to win we must center our relationships, build robust structures of support, and both celebrate and reflect on our existing work. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Justice Education and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
