Becky (she/her) is a Research Analyst for the Center of Women and Work (CWW) at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations. At the Center for Women and Work (CWW), Becky will be focused on research examining care decisions in families. This includes studying the knowledge and uptake of policies like paid family leave and paid sick leave. This also includes studying the child care landscape in New Jersey. Prior to joining the CWW full-time, Becky worked for the Center part-time, assisting with a landscape assessment of family leave insurance in New Jersey and examining the gaps in between qualifying for paid family leave and having job protection. Becky finished her doctorate in Social Work at Rutgers in October, defending her dissertation entitled, "Fathers' use of leave at the birth of a child: An examination of factors influencing fathers' leave-taking behaviors." She completed my MSW at Smith College in 2011.
