Join us for a hybrid seminar on disability employment research featuring speakers from the School of Management and Labor Relations and Rutgers Business School.

Seminar Includes:

  • Introduction by Dr. Lisa Schur who provides a quick description of the Employer Disability Practices Center and other grant-funded activities.
  • Ph.D. student Samantha Deane discusses a corporate wellbeing case study at Ernst & Young.
  • Dr. Mason Ameri presents on the importance of self-advocacy skills for college students with disabilities as they prepare for the job hunt.
  • Dr. Hazel-Anne Johnson-Marcus showcases workplace assistive technology.
  • Dr. Yana Rodgers explores the intersection of Long Covid and telework.
  • Ph.D. student Lauren Gilbert discusses vocational rehabilitation funding and employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
  • Dr. Lawrence Houston examines employer disability practices and employee engagement at major U.S. companies.
