Badge Description - Personal Branding

Earners of this badge will learn best practices in resume development, how to craft a personal branding statement, and how to effectively manage their LinkedIn profiles. Students will participate in a group or personalized session with SMLR Career Services to review their resume and LinkedIn profile. Indicating their commitment to career and self-development, this badge demonstrates that earners have taken proactive steps, with concrete deliverables, for presenting their personal brands through resume building and online networking.
Earning Criteria
- Earner completed the Learning Course Nano Tips for Defining Your Personal Brand and submitted a personal branding statement.
- Earner participated in a group or one-on-one session with SMLR Career Services to discuss revamping their resume.
- Earner completed the Learning Course Rock Your LinkedIn Profile and submitted a Certificate of Completion.
- Earner developed a LinkedIn profile per the guidance in the Rock Your LinkedIn Profile course and submitted the LinkedIn URL for approval to SMLR Career Services.
