Noncredit programs and courses are increasingly important in advancing the skills needed in today’s labor market, but there has been very little data and research on this type of education. This review looked at research conducted over the past 5-years to review findings on learner outcomes from noncredit programs in terms of completions, wages, and employment. It provides an overall assessment of state of knowledge about the education and employment outcomes from these types of programs.
