Before joining the faculty at SMLR, Hadi El-Farr was a visiting assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati teaching courses in Human Resources and Organizational behavior. Prior to that, Hadi has taught various courses at the University of Leeds and the University of York.

Hadi earned his Ph.D. in HRM from the University of Leeds, his M.B.A. from the Lebanese American University and his B.B.A. from the American University of Beirut. Also, he was certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute. 

Hadi’s main research interests are Strategic HRM, Knowledge management, Artificial Intelligence, and International HRM issues. He is also interested in studying international students' mobility, performance assessment, and teaching evaluation. Throughout his career, he had extensive exposure to the Middle Eastern, European and American markets and worked at various industries including Higher Education, Retail, Trade, Management Consulting, and Hospitality.
