Kayleigh Truman (They/Them) joined the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations in the Fall of 2024. Prior to that, they completed their master's at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies in 2021. Their current research interests center around the mental health of workers, specifically in the Entertainment Industry. Their master's research titled: "Covid-19: Shining a Light on the Mental Health of Entertainment Workers" was a finalist in the 2023 UALE New Researcher Award.

Outside of academia, Kayleigh is a long-standing member of IATSE Local No. One (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees), with over 15+ years of experience working across live entertainment in the Greater NYC area. Also an avid Mental Health Advocate and a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor with the Behind the Scenes Organization.
