Aisha Thomas-Petit joined The School of Management & Labor Relations in 2013 as a lecturer. She teaches the graduate-level course, Managing the Global Workforce.

Aisha Thomas-Petit is a first-class Human Resource Leader with extensive experience aligning human capital and business strategy in large, global organizations; significantly impacting business through executive partnership, organizational sensing, effective assessment of business needs and HR implications, optimization of teams and flawless execution of core HR and strategic initiatives. Her career began in Banking with Chase as a securities services management trainee. She later moved into human resources, holding a variety of HR leadership roles in campus recruiting, organization development and as a HR generalist working through industry leading
mergers/acquisitions.

In 2006, Aisha joined Lehman Brothers as an HR Leader in Technology. With the economic downturn and the ultimate collapse of the Wall Street giant, Aisha joined Barclays Capital in a Senior HR Business Partner role. For the next several years she would build and execute a people strategy for Global Operations with teams in the US, London and Singapore. After over 15 years in financial services, Aisha decided to pursue a role at ADP where she would drive the buildout of a new technology innovation lab in New York City. For the two years, she has shifted focus to ADP’s mid-segment business, where she is now the Vice President of Human Resources for Major Accounts & Canada Sales responsible for strategic HCM for a population of 1500+ associates; leading a team of HRBPs and driving business-aligned Human Capital initiatives across the Division.

Aisha holds a bachelor degree in Marketing from Syracuse University and an MBA from Rutgers University. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
