Marta Pulley is SMLR's Instructional Technology Specialist. She collaborates with faculty and program directors to design and revise online courses; facilitates training in online teaching technologies; and works with partners across the University to advance digital learning at SMLR.

Marta previously served as the Online Learning Specialist at Essex County College, where she worked on a TAACCCT grant program. She played an integral part in ensuring the development of online courses met the state's grant programs approval process. As an experienced instructional designer, online learner, project manager, and mentor in the popular Coursera course, Learning How to Learn, Marta brings a unique and broad perspective of the online learning design process from analysis through evaluation.  

With a master’s degree in Instructional Design & Technology in Online Learning, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, Marta offers expertise in the full instructional design and development process using instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and project management skills.
