Marta Pulley is SMLR's Instructional Technology Specialist. She collaborates with faculty and program directors to design and/or revise online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses; facilitates Teaching Effectiveness Series for faculty development, and works with partners across the University to advance teaching and learning effectiveness at SMLR.

Marta previously served as the Online Learning Specialist at Essex County College, where she worked on a TAACCCT grant program. She played an integral part in ensuring the development of online courses  the state's grant  approval process. As an experienced instructional designer, online learner, and project manager, Marta brings a unique and broad perspective of the online learning design process from analysis through evaluation.  With a master’s degree in Instructional Design & Technology in Online  and a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, Marta offers expertise in the full instructional design and development process using instructional design principles, Quality Matters design rubrics, adult learning theories, and project management skills.
