Rutgers Giving Day has arrived (extended from March 21-22 due to the weather)!
Think bigger by supporting Rutgers SMLR on campus or online. #RUGivingDay
Every dollar contributed tomorrow to the SMLR Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund will be matched 1:1 up to $5,000 by SMLR Alumna Melissa Daniel and her husband, Charles.
The endowed scholarship fund provides student support to undergraduate and graduate SMLR students across both the HR and Labor Studies & Employment Relations departments.
In 2016, less than 45% of SMLR's undergraduate students received financial aid, with the rest addressing tuition with student loans and/or scholarship support. Every year, a majority of our undergraduate and graduate students take on multiple student loans or must juggle work while completing their degrees. An increase in SMLR's ability to award scholarships has the potential to truly make a difference in our students' academic experience and financial future.
Make an impact by:
- Visiting GivingDay.Rutgers.edu tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21st
- Selecting Scholarships & College Access from the giving designation options
- Selecting the School of Management & Labor Relations from the dropdown
- Sharing that you've supported SMLR on social media & inviting other SMLR alumni to do the same
Also, you can potentially TRIPLE your impact if your employer matches contributions!
One day, a world of impact.
How will you think bigger?
We also encourage you to consider your legacy and email Divine Tabios, Director of Development, to discuss ways to leave a lasting impact
