Yan Chen is a doctoral candidate at Rutgers University's School of Management and Labor Relations. Her primary research interests are in the areas of compensation and benefits, workplace diversity, and strategic human resource management. Integrating micro and macro perspectives, she is interested in exploring the consequences of human resource management practices (such as pay-for-performance and flexible work arrangements) and workforce diversity on outcomes at the individual and collective levels. Her research has been published in Human Resource Management, with three conference papers also appearing in Academy of Management Annual Meeting Best Paper Proceedings.
