Faiza Abbas has been a faculty member at SMLR since 2011. She has taught various courses in management including “Organizational Behavior,” “Leadership in Work Organizations,” “Work, Society & the Quality of Life,” and “Professional Writing in Employment Relations.” In her seven years of affiliation with SMLR, she has worked in different capacities collaborating and assisting in research and teaching. She studies and writes about labor issues, and she recently published a paper on hidden hazardous child labor in the brick making industry in Pakistan.
Faiza is interested in exploring employment relations in a broader context. In addition to being a part of the SMLR faculty, Ms. Abbas also teaches management courses at Penn State Harrisburg, School of Business Administration.
She holds a Masters degree in Labor and Employment Relations from Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, and a Masters degree in English Language & Literature from the Punjab University.
