On March 9, 2012, SMLR Human Resource Management (HRM) students and alumni networked with nearly two dozen, leading companies during the HRM Career Fair. Held in Livingston Student Center's Livingston Hall, the career fair allowed students to receive career advice and opportunities from experts in the HR field. On February 13, Len Garrison joined SMLR as the Department of Human Resource Management's career services manager. Garrison previously worked at Rutgers Career Services, where he supported students and alumni in all aspects of their job search, including résumé and cover letter writing, interviewing, and networking. Garrison brings many years of experience to his position. He has spent 15 years working as vice president of finance in individual insurance for Prudential Financial, managing a staff of 22 professionals.
