Since 2001, the Occupational Training and Education Consortium has led a range of workforce development projects supported through federal, state, and foundation sources. With a focus on work environment issues including occupational and environmental health and safety, OTEC develops grant-funded partnerships with employers, unions, and community-based groups. OTEC projects seek to increase the communication and problem-solving skills of individuals and the effectiveness of their organizations. 

 The 2011-2013 Ray Carey Fellow

The School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) invites applications for the Michael W. Huber Fellowship in Democratic Capitalism. The fellowship will be awarded to an outstanding PhD or master's candidate or to a visiting or postdoctoral scholar. The Michael W. Huber Fellowship is supported by a generous gift from Caroline Huber.

The 2012-2013 Michael W. Huber Fellows

The Louis O. Kelso Fellowships are awarded to outstanding scholars studying the topic of broadened ownership of capital in a democratic society in the United States. PhD candidates, postdoctoral scholars, or visiting professors in the areas of business/economics/labor studies/management, history, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, public policy, or sociology may apply.
