Profile: Yarrow Willman-Cole

Program Coordinator


Yarrow Willman-Cole is Program Coordinator with the Working Families Program at the Center for Women and Work.  As Program Coordinator, Yarrow assists in all aspects of research, outreach, and education on family-friendly workplace policies.  Current projects include research on the impact of NJ Family Leave Insurance program on NJ businesses; outreach and education on earned sick days; and the New Jersey Time to Care Coalition’s work on the local, state and national levels. 
Yarrow has over 10 years of experience as an educator, organizer, and advocate for underserved communities, including work in Honduras, Costa Rica, and New York City as both a teacher and community organizer.  Prior to joining CWW, Yarrow worked at New Jersey Citizen Action on a range of issues from health care to workplace policies. She has made presentations at state and local events, testified at legislative hearings, and been quoted in major media outlets. 
Yarrow has a BA in Spanish and International Studies from The Ohio State University, and is currently working on a master's degree in Labor and Employment Relations at Rutgers.
Her hobbies are knitting, bike riding, watching Netflix, and finding new music on the internet.
