Jessica Methot is an assistant professor in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. She conducts research at the intersection of interpersonal workplace relationships and social network dynamics, such as how team processes promote trust and team effectiveness, and the functional and dysfunctional consequences of positive workplace interactions. Her work in these areas has been published in outlets including Personnel Psychology, Human Resource Management Review, and Occupational Stress and Well-Being; she is active in professional organizations including the Academy of Management, the International Network for Social Network Analysis, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology; and she serves on the board of directors for the Center for Contemporary Environmental Art in Brooklyn, NY.
