This course provides an overview of American employment and labor laws pertinent to the construction industry. It prepares union leaders to protect their members in the employment relationship and avoid legal liabilities for their unions.

This course provides an overview of the collective bargaining process for the building trades unions. Students will learn how to competitively and successfully negotiate collective bargaining agreements with a single employer as well as multiple employers.
