Profile: Ian Markey

Research Associate


Ian Markey is a Research Associate at the Education and Employment Research Center (EERC). Ian's primary effort at EERC is focused on research and report writing for the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training (TAACCCT) grants. In addition to his position at EERC, Ian is working with Debra Borie-Holtz, a Bloustein faculty member and senior research analyst at EERC, and Stuart Shapiro, Bloustein faculty, to research state regulatory review policies.
Ian holds both a bachelor's degree in history from Villanova University and a master's in public administration from Seton Hall University. Prior to joining Rutgers, Ian worked in the deregulated electricity industry and conducted industry research in support of sales and operations.
