Profile: Audrey Mattoon

Research Associate

Audrey Mattoon is a PhD candidate at Washington State University’s School of Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs. Her primary research interest is in historical institutionalism and the role of institutional interaction in the achievement of policy, mainly in the area of conflict management. She has also published and presented on data development in the field of intrastate war; she has extended her interest in data development and creation to a variety of subject areas.

She received her BA from the University of Idaho, before moving six miles across the border to do her graduate work at Washington State University. She teaches at Washington State University’s Pullman campus in the field of Comparative and American politics.
