Welcome to the James B. Carey Library

The James B. Carey Library was recently renovated with new ceilings, furniture, computers and so much more! Before you visit the newly renovated library, read more about the James B. Carey Library renovation process and additions made to the facility. The James B. Carey Library, located in the Labor Education Center, offers reference and information services to the students and faculty of the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR), the larger Rutgers community, labor relations and human resource management professionals, and the working people and employers of New Jersey. We maintain a specialized collection of journals, texts, reporting services and databases in industrial relations and human resources.

The library is part of the Rutgers University Libraries system (RUL) and open to the public.

Carey Library staff is available during library hours to answer questions about library services and to help you with your research. If you cannot come in person, call or email us.
