Welcome to the James B. Carey Library

Updated August 24, 2015:

The James B. Carey Library renovations have been completed. Be advised that the Library currently is utilizing temporary furniture until all the new furniture arrives later in September. Printing availability and computer stations should be available during the first week of the semester.

If you have any questions, please contact the Library Director, Julie Peters at 848-932-9608 or via email at jpeters@smlr.rutgers.edu.

The James B. Carey Library, located in the Labor Education Center, offers reference and information services to the students and faculty of the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR), the larger Rutgers community, labor relations and human resource management professionals, and the working people and employers of New Jersey. We maintain a specialized collection of journals, texts, reporting services and databases in industrial relations and human resources.

The library is part of the Rutgers University Libraries system (RUL) and open to the public.

Carey Library staff is available during library hours to answer questions about library services and to help you with your research. If you cannot come in person, call or email us.
