Profile: Claudia Meer

Associate Extension Specialist


Professor Claudia Meer focuses on the areas of training and development and adult learning. She has written the only published book on Customer Education, a career counseling manual on Sex Role Stereotyping in Occupational Choices, and has published in Lifelong Learning, Continuum, and New Jersey Libraries.

She is the program director at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations' Executive and Professional Education. She was formerly the program director of four Mini-MBA programs offered by the Rutgers Center for Management Development (CMD): Business Essentials, Finance Essentials, BioPharma Innovation and Strategic Healthcare as well as three Human Resource Management (HRM) certificate programs on HR  Essentials, Strategic HR and Employment Law. 

Professor Meer has designed training and educational programs to address the diverse learning needs of practitioners within these disciplines and advises and works closely with a wide variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors.
