The 2012-2013 Blue Wolf Capital Fellow

Marshall Vance, the Blue Wolf Capital Fellow, is examining how specific shared capitalism plan characteristics (e.g., profit sharing and equity plan characteristics, eligibility rules, vesting provisions, and contribution size) affect employee effort and retention incentives, and the potential tradeoffs among compensation objectives inherent in the design of plan characteristics with special attention to the portfolio companies of private equity firms. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business Department of Accounting.
