Human Resource Management and Organizational Effectiveness: Yesterday and Today

Distinguished Professors Randall Schuler and Susan Jackson’s paper, “Human Resource Management and Organizational Effectiveness: Yesterday and Today,” was selected as the Outstanding Paper in the 2015 Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence.  The paper, which is published in the Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance, highlights how human resource management (HRM) and organizational effectiveness (OE) has evolved during the past three decades and includes examples of how firms are using HRM to improve their OE today.
