As a division of Rutgers’ Department of Labor Studies and Employment RelationsLabor Education and Research Now (LEARN) offers a wide range of noncredit and continuing education training programs for union members and management representatives, as well as the organizations and professions that are associated with these groups. LEARN students are emerging leaders across the state of New Jersey who want to enhance their personal knowledge and workplace skills. The men and women enrolled in LEARN programs are as diverse as the industries in which they work, including building trades, education, safety, customer service, telecommunications, health care, and government.

LEARN has developed programs for a wide array of workers, including union representatives, government employees, mediators, arbitrators, labor relations attorneys, managers and supervisors. Use the index to the left to find what program fits best for you.

LEARN’s leading research faculty conducts studies and publishes findings in labor and employment relations and is available to consult on collective bargaining, strategic planning, and organizational change.
