LEARN

LEARN: Empowering Minds. Transforming Lives.

As a division of Rutgers’ Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations, Labor Education and Research Now (LEARN) offers a wide range of noncredit and continuing education training programs for workers, labor unions and related organizations. LEARN students are emerging rank-and-file leaders across the state of New Jersey who want to enhance their personal knowledge and workplace skills and build a stronger union. The men and women enrolled in LEARN programs are as diverse as the industries in which they work, including: building trades, education, safety, customer service, telecommunications, health care, and government.

In addition, LEARN’s leading research faculty conducts studies and publishes findings in labor and employment relations and is available to consult on collective bargaining, strategic planning, and organizational change.
