Laura Barrett-Hansen is the senior program coordinator for the Education and Employment Research Center (EERC). In this role, Laura manages the administration and staffing on all EERC’s grants and assists in evaluation research on various projects. Laura is responsible for developing and maintaining administrative procedures for EERC and works with the grants specialist to track budgets and ensure grant compliance. She also contributes to research efforts in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
Prior to working at EERC, Laura worked as a program coordinator at the Center for Women and Work’s Working Families and Innovative Training and Workforce Development programs. She assisted with research and writing efforts in programs relating to training and education within the workforce development system. She also supported research, outreach, and education on public and private workplace policies that help working families achieve self-sufficiency.
Laura holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in labor and employment relations from SMLR.
