Part-time Graduate Students

What Does it Cost and How Can I Finance?

The cost involves graduate tuition and fees, just as for any other four graduate courses at Rutgers.

  • Nondegree students are considered part time because they may take up to 6 credits per term. They are not eligible for federal aid but can apply for a bank loan if they are registered for 6 credits. Many of our students participate in their employers tuition assistance programs.

  • In 2014-15, the tutiion for a part-time in-state student is $2361 (plus fees) for a single 3-credit live course. An online course costs an additional $100.00

  • In 2014-15, the tuition for a part-time out-of-state student is $3933 (plus fees) for a single 3-credit live course. An online course costs an additional $100.00. Listed below is the fee breakdown.
