Paula Caligiuri, Ph.D. is a work psychologist dedicated to helping companies, business teams, and executives become effective in today’s complex global environment. She is the author of several books including, Managing the Global Workforce (with David Lepak and Jaime Bonache, 2010, Wiley), Get a Life, Not a Job: Do What You Love and Let Your Talents Work for You (FT Press, 2010) and Harmonizing Work, Family, and Personal Life (with Steven Poelmans, Cambridge Press, 2008).

Dr. Caligiuri is a Professor in the Human Resource Management Department at Rutgers University, where she teaches courses in career management and global human resources at the masters, PhD, and executive levels. Named as one of the most prolific authors in international business for her work in global careers, she is an internationally recognized expert on human resource management. Dr. Caligiuri has lectured in numerous universities and has been a speaker for many major corporations in the United States, Asia, and Europe.

Dr. Caligiuri has a bi-weekly segment on CNN called “Reclaim Your Career” covering career and management-related topics. She as completed a pilot for a television show called CareerWATCH and also writes a popular career blog. Paula is also a popular blogger on career-related topics (www.PaulaCaligiuri.com/blog)

    Paula publishes, researches, and consults in three primary areas: strategic human resource management in multinational organizations, global leadership development, and career management. Her research on these topics has appeared in the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of World Business, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and International Journal of Intercultural Relations.

    Awarded (with Saba Colagolglu) the 2009 Best Paper in International Human Resource Management (2nd place) by the Academy of Management.

    Awarded (with Guenter Stahl, Cheihwee Chua, Jean-Luc Cerdin, and Mami Taniguchi) the 2010 Best Paper in International Human Resource Management (2nd place) by the Academy of Management.
